Office of the Metropolitan Archbishop 

The Metropolitan Archbishop's Office provides support for the Archbishop in his pastoral responsibilities and in serving the Mission of the Archdiocese of the Palestinian Orthodox Church 

Chancellor  

The Chancellor assists the Archbishop in providing canonical consultation in areas of Church law, maintains the official records of the Archdiocesan curia, and drafts, issues and safeguards official documents.



Vicar General 

 Vicar General is the principal delegate of the Archdiocesan Archbishop. The Vicar General possesses that delegated authority in the Archdiocese which belongs to the Archbishop in law, that is, he possesses the power to place all administrative acts with the exception of those which the Archbishop has reserved to himself or which in law requires the special mandate of the Archbishop. He is the highest official in a Archdiocese after the Archdiocesan Archbishop


Tribunal Court of the Church 

The Tribunal of the Archdiocese of the Palestinian Orthodox Church is the forum in which the judicial authority of the Metropolitan Archbishop is exercised. The Judicial Vicar, Judges and other canonical ministers and professional staff cooperate in the Metropolitan Archbishop’s ministry of furthering the supreme law of the Church, “the salvation of souls”. Be assured that the Tribunal of the Palestinian Orthodox Church will do its best within the limits set by holy canon to assist both the Petitioner and the Respondent in exercising their rights in the process. Vicar for Clergy 

The Vicar for Clergy is both the representative of the Archbishop to the Clergy of the Archdiocese and the advocate of the clergy to the Metropolitan Archbishop. He is to be concerned about the overall well-being and growth of all the clergy in the Archdiocesan. 


Parish Life 

The Office for Parish Life of the Archdiocese of the Palestinian Orthodox Church is an integrated resource team in service to all aspects of Parish Life: Word, Worship, Community, and Service


Vocations Office 

Through our Baptism, we are all called to live a life of holiness and mission. The Archdiocesan Vocation Office believes that when we answer this call and live as intentional and missionary disciples, We are very blessed in the Orthodox Church allows our priests if the wish to be married before Ordinations, and an increased number of those willing to serve as Deacons, Priests, Religious. All of our vocations are a gift from God.


Palestinian Orthodox Village 

Our Monastery and retreat center, the Village is operated under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Archdiocese in the scenic Allegany region of Warren Pennsylvania.

Religious Education 

Education or Faith Formation, we are talking about catechesis. “Catechesis is an education in the faith of children, young people, and adults which includes especially the teaching of Orthodox Christian doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systematic way, with a view to initiating the hearers into the fullness of Christian life.”

Palestinian Orthodox Church Social Services 

Palestinian Orthodox Church Social Services has seen a dramatic increase in the number of people seeking assistance as a result of the coronavirus. Appeal gifts help our food pantries, kitchen, shelters and relief-assistance programs provide our friends and neighbors with basic life-sustaining needs such as food, clothing, medications and rent assistances. Palestinian Orthodox Church  Social Services also provides much-needed counseling, support and resources to individuals, Veterans and families to put them on a solid path to a better future.

Mission

The mission of the Archdiocese is to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, to teach and spread the Orthodox Christian Faith, to energize, cultivate, and guide the life of the Church in the United States of America according to the Orthodox Christian Faith and Tradition.

The Palestinian Orthodox Church in America sanctifies the faithful through divine worship, especially the Holy Eucharist and other Sacraments, building the spiritual and ethical life of the faithful in accordance with the Holy Scriptures, Sacred Tradition, the doctrines and canons of the Ecumenical and local Councils, the canons of the Holy Apostles and the Fathers of the Church and of all other Councils recognized by the Orthodox Church.


OUR CHURCH

Our Church was founded by our Lord and Savior Jesus in Jerusalem and the Palestinian Orthodox Church was organized to meet the needs of the inspired Palestinian Christians from Palestine in living in America and in all parts of the world. Today our Church welcomes faithful through immersion of Baptism from all background. As mandated in Matthew by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 28:19 Disciple all nations - Make them my disciples". 


Ecumenism 

The attitude of the Palestinian Orthodox Church toward ecumenism has always been of a sober strictly Orthodox character, in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Fathers. The Palestinian Orthodox Church always teaches and preserving the Faith in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church,
